I love social media for the fact that we can be friends while you're in a different continent!

I have been following and admiring Cyrena Monique of @FREAKDELUXE (freakdeluxe.co.uk) for the longest time. She's a UK based blogger and stylist with exceptionally long legs (had to add that bit). Her minimalistic, cool gyal vibes was relatable to my style and she IS my shoe collection goals!
When she mentioned she'll visit NYC for a week, I was hoping to meet her, like really! And boy was I glad that she felt the same. You know, nowadays people just say, 'let's totes do brunch one day" and they never hit you back.

Well, she is not one of those flakes.

We met and it was glorious!

I absolutely adore Cyrena. She's the perfect mix of beauty and class, with a sprinkle of contagious wit. We talked, ate lots of delicious pancakes, drank strong lattes, walked, shopped and laughed a lot. It really felt like we've been friends for a while but she live in the UK.

This white tee was a gift from Cyrena. She posted a photo of her wearing a tee with hand embroidered text on it and I thought it was subtle but extra cool! Unexpectedly, she asked me what word I'd want on it and I simply said "pouvoir". Little did I know, she was actually going to give me one when she visits NYC. This IS my current favorite shirt because the quality is top notch and the cotton is really soft. I'm not sure if she's selling them yet but here's the website. www.cyrenemonique.com
